I have SO many posts to do, I have the best readers in the world and my inbox is filled with hilariousness and horrors. I am on it.

I had to show you this, I saw this on my favorite blog, regretsy, and had to post.

  1. Because the models look really excited to be wearing them. I mean, the dresses them selves are a novel idea, but…no…not for a wedding dress.

  2. well I suppose it’s great for recycling stuff, and since you can get ties for 50 cents at the Goodwill, materials are cheap.

  3. “give you the perfect hourglass shape”

    No.

  4. Who would wear this except the daughter of a tie designer?

I’m glad to hear you are back. It’s been so long since there’s been anything new that I was just about to take you off my faves list.

  5. Now that I think about it, maybe a bride who is marrying the son of a tie designer might wear this dress. But she should look into her future and recognize that she’s going to be sporting a lot of tie-theme garments!

  6. Oh shit. That guy is my photographer for MY wedding! Seriously! He’s from Spokane! I’m SOOO finding a new photographer.

  7. when are you going to post on travllers weding fotos
im sick of wasting my time looking at the one stupied fotos the whole time

so come on tackyweddings show me some travllers style coze der obuisly the best

    • If you want more photos like that, maybe you should go create your own damn website, though I doubt you’re comptetent enough to do it. If you don’t like what’s being posted, don’t read the blog. Its that simple.

    • SPELL CHECK FAIL!

    • Okay, here’s the thing. This here thing is a “web log” or a “blog.” “Blogs” are also what you would call “archived.” That’s a fancy word that means that alllllll the posts are kept forever and ever, or at least until the site goes away or the server goes “boom.”

This revolutionary idea means that you can go back and read alllll the old posts. And i could swear that there have been several posts on Irish Traveller weddings… although they may be posted under “Tinker” weddings, which is a novel idea i know. i know i’ve seen a couple. The maintainer of the site can only post what she knows about, it’s not like she’s getting paid to spend hours and hours trolling the internet for things to post.

So i’d say if you want to see more of what you’re looking for:

      1) Find her some Tinker weddings to post
      2) Start your own damned site focused on Tinker weddings
      3) Stop reading if this site isn’t cutting it for you. No one forces you to read this site.

Considering that you’re reading this site without paying for it, and that the maintainer doesn’t get paid to post to the site, i’d say you don’t really have a lot of room to be bitchy. Oh and spelling counts if you want people to take you seriously.

  9. Interesting idea — but I think I’ll pass

  11. Yeah, I think this may be seen as the equivalent of notches on the bed post. Neckties on a dress. “This represents every man I’ve been with.” Not sure how comfortable a groom would be seeing his bride wrapped in a bunch of accessories worn by other men. Yeah. As a guy, I’m going to vote no on this. But at least it’s not these; http://weddingpros.wordpress.com/2009/05/13/top-10-sluttiest-wedding-dresses/

  12. I actually like those dresses for an offbeat/diy/indie bride (or even her bridesmaids)! Not traditional, for sure, but not the worst we’ve seen on here!

  13. Actually, I really like that dress as well. If there was a really nice assortment of tie colours/patterns that went into the dress, it would make a hell of a difference.

I’d really like to see one done in soft lilac and powder pink tones, with a cream waist.

    • I just have to point out thought, the first two pictures are horrendous but the last dress is quite nice.. the first one would make me shoot myself.. 2nd one, well, I’d be quite happy to wear it.

  14. The tie-clothes are a pretty nice idea.. but for a wedding dress.. just no.

  15. Oh, Kiss My ASS!!!!

  16. Might be nice to put your bridesmaids in them though.

  17. This shit sells like crazy, because of the place of the seller. It’s Spokane Washington. That place is full of Juggalos and tweekers. They love wearing ugly shit like this.

  18. The tie thing is a neat concept. Perhaps better suited for a fun personality outfit as opposed to a wedding dress. When I was in Jr. High School my cousin made herself a tie skirt…wait yeah we were like 13. ha 🙂 but still kind of a neat idea.
